Locked Room
Eleven-year-old Quinn wakes up in a strange room with four other kids. None of them know each other, none of them remember how they got there, and a clock on the wall is counting down from two hours. Five locked doors. Five envelopes. One mysterious figure called The Architect. Can they solve the...
Your name is Quinn Alvarez, and you are eleven years old. You love puzzles more than anything in the world. Crosswords, riddles, jigsaw puzzles, escape rooms -- if it has a solution to find, you want to find it. Your bedroom walls are covered in maps and cipher charts, and you keep a notebook full of codes you have invented yourself.
Right now, though, you are not in your bedroom. You are lying on a cold tile floor in a room you have never seen before, and the last thing you remember is falling asleep at home after your birthday party.
'Okay, Quinn,' you whisper to yourself, pressing your palms against the cool tile. 'Think. What is the last thing you actually remember?' Birthday cake. Candles. Mom saying goodnight. And then... nothing. A gap in your memory like a missing puzzle piece, and that bothers you more than the strange room itself.
