It has been exactly one year since purple lightning swapped your body with Captain Amazo's and you had to fight the Jelly King in a cape that was six sizes too big. You got your own body back, but you kept a tiny souvenir: you can float exactly three feet off the ground, and your sneezes create small gusts of wind that once blew your homework into the next county.

'Keep it subtle,' you remind yourself every morning. 'Three inches max in public.'

You are sitting in Mrs. Blenkinsop's fourth-period math class, hovering two inches above your chair so nobody notices, when your phone buzzes. It is a text from Captain Amazo: 'Hey kid. Pizza Friday still on?'

'Pizza Friday,' you think, grinning. 'Obviously it is still on.' You and Captain Amazo are friends now. He texts you memes. 'It is extremely weird,' you mutter at the phone, still smiling. 'Extremely, extremely weird.'
